This attractive basket on display is handmade by cutting Bamboo and splitting it into slivers by hand. It is then dip-dyed in lead free, AZO free colours to create a safe, non-toxic woven fruit basket that can also double up as a beautiful storage organizer.
These finely crafted baskets have been made by the artisans of the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. They have been creating these bamboo products from locally available natural materials for generations.
